Elvis Lives! My Big Hollywood Cameo
Greetings friends!
I've gone radio silent here in terms of blogging for the last 2 1/2 months. I've been pretty busy being pretty unemployed. I haven't quite find found anyone to hire me as their brand spokesman or adventurer co-host. (Not to say I haven't been working on it.) Fortunately my personal assistant has found a job so I'm pretty much just bumming off of him.
If you have been following me on Twitter and Facebook you'll see that I've been keeping quite busy with a number of things and contests. I'll be saving some of those for future posts. I'm a little bitter towards one contest that I'm still not quite over yet. Again, I'll dedicate a blog to that.
Probably the most exciting thing to have happened in the past few months is that I made my big Hollywood debut. If you will recall last year around this time, I entered a contest with Memorex to help save the future with Brock Firestone. The top prize was a huge TV and going to L.A. to film a cameo. I got the TV earlier this year (works great) and I went to LA in the spring to film my cameo in a movie called "Elvis Lives." It was being produced by The Asylum and aired on AXS TV.
Going out to LA was great. I had a great time on the set of the movie and everyone was incredibly nice and friendly. I even got a tour of The Asylum's Headquarters and production studio. I also got to pitch my idea of a truly epic movie "The Adventures of Colt Sebastian Taylor." Sadly, Hollywood wasn't ready for it but nevertheless I had an amazing time talking to the people there.
While my part was only a few seconds of the movie, it was truly an amazing experience and a most grand adventure.
Check out my cameo.
Big thanks to Asylum, AXS TV, Memorex, George, Marie, and Tres.
Here are some behind the scenes pictures of the production.
